Why We Chose It
Davines was founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by Gianni and Silvana Bollati as a family research laboratory dedicated to professional hair care, the name blended from their children's names, Davide and Stefania. Formulated with sea salt and buckwheat seed extract. In ex vivo testing, SOLU shampoo and sea salt scrub were effective at washing metals representative of urban air pollution (nickel, cadmium and lead) off the hair shaft.
